Stephen Graham has been a Chartered Accountant for 23 years joining BDO in 2000. He manages a business services client base providing taxation and account advice to a broad range of clients and industries including primary sector (farming, forestry, sawmilling), retail, manufacturing and property. Other typical work includes presentation of financial statements, assisting clients with GST and Income Tax compliance responsibilities, preparation of cash forecasts and financial systems reviews. This later work has proven successful for several of Stephen’s clients and was one of the reasons why he was awarded the 2006 Young Chartered Accountant of the Year award for Midland Region.
Stephen has experience in Corporate Finance matter including due diligence for business acquisitions, business valuations and business structural advice, and has a particular interest in business start-ups and succession planning. Being a BDO Accredited Family Business Adviser enables him to work closely with small business owners to ensure their personal and business goals are attained.
Outside his working life, Stephen is kept well and truly occupied with his family of four children and by making the most of the beautiful Rotorua natural surroundings, being a regular walker, runner and mountain biker.
